Heya!

I tried to setup my BB desktop manager so that emails from my boss get upgraded to Level 1 messages and will make a different noise on my BB because of it.....

I set up a rule that from him, it should upgrade the messages, but it doesn't work. Does anyone know why it might not be working?

Is this BES? (To fix, configure on the BES/Exchange server)
Is this BWC? (To fix, login to your carrier's BWC website)
Is this Desktop Redirector? (To fix, configure on desktop)

I ask because filters set in one of the email methods, won't work for the other email methods. If using Desktop Redirector / BlackBerry Desktop, what versions?

I too am attempting to do this, I use a service provider called redalert to monitor my server, If the server is not responding a message is sent to my Blackberry. In the destop redirector I have set up a filter that says if the message is from user "xyz@xyz.com" then upgrade this message to Level 1. On my blackberry I set up the profiles for Level 1 messeage to beep x number of times, this does not seem to work. PIN to PIN message as treated as level 1 and you are able to customize the ringtone on them.

Anyone else have any luck with this?
