Default Using Task List

Please Login to Remove!

New BB user her who has converted from a Palm T mainly for the superior email functions. So far the only item I am really, really missing is the task list. Does anyone have any tips on how to make the task list more like the palms? I had catergories that I used alot on my palm and I can not seem to do the same on a BB. I manage 8 people and really need thsi function in order to kick my palm to the curb.

Thanks

In the new version of BlackberryOS, the 4.0.0.100 on my handheld, there's a Filter feature in the Tasks app, so yes there are categories, modelled upon Outlook's own Tasks.

Categories are also available in the addressbook in 4.0.0.100.

Mark said it best as I've noticed the same with 4.0.0.100 with the taks app. For now I would say try and make do with the current handheld OS and the task app as handheld OS 4.0 isn't to far off.

This is good news. The tasks on the BB have been weak, thus far, and I haven't the cash to outlay to try out eOffice yet!

I tried out eOffice, and for me it was problematic. Perhaps I was doing something wrong, but the applications are slow to the point of being excruciating. Also, the authorization scheme on the programs is hell on wheels.

Interesting. I was about to give eOffice a whirl...I might still try it out...the description of what they have to offer is quite impressive...

Let me know how it works for you. I went away from the experience with eOffice with the impression that perhaps the Blackberry was too limited in the computing department to properly run such a suite of programs.

My only issue is that I am memory contrained. I'm going to have to remove the slide show I made of my favorite 27 pictures of my baby boy :( But I need that Meg back to play around with new applications.
