Default Carrying Case for 7100i

Please Login to Remove!

I looked at them ALL! Hands down....you have to take a look at the Krusell holster and system for the 7100i. It was the 4th one I bought...the other 3 brands went in file 13!

Does anyone incl. seido have a good case_holster that will also carry a motorola bluetooth earpiece??? I really do not want to have to have a case for both separately.

Thanks,

I agree, I have the Krusell as well as the seido, both are very nice, but mainly use the krusell with a screen protector.

What a disapointment!!! Everyone has been raving about how this seidio case is the best! I really missed my 7520 holster and wanted a solution for the 7100i, well this was an expensive solution ($28.98 + $8.42 = $38.40) for something that should have been included in the first place. Ok now, it arrived in a crushed box with no real packing materials. I know priority mail is only about $4 so this was let down #1. Let down #2 is the fact that the magnet just isn't strong enough to put the phone into sleep. I have to push in on the battery door before the screen will go off. This is not at all what I was expecting. The softcase shuts the screen off no matter which way you put it in. This is a real disapointment, its better then the softcase I suppose but for what I paid and what everyone has/had said it's a major let down. The magnet also seems like its in the middle rather then over the 5, see pictures.

USPS fault, not case manufacture.

Did you buy this for pretty packaging?

I am sure if you email them they will send you a replacement. Myself and five friends do not experience this. Actually I just looked at the one I have and it actualy shuts off BEFORE it is even in all the way. I think the magnet is just misplaced somehow???

I am sorry you have had this experience. However the only real issue here is the sleep function, which the magnet could have been improperly placed. I am sure Seidio will take care of this. Over the last few weeks I have had, like I said above, order this case. Not one person has complained AT ALL, even about the price. Sure its a little expensive, however IT IS A GREAT CASE.

GOBLUE

I hope everything works out.

Big Dave...try the Krusell cabriolet for the 7100i, along with a screen protector. That's my combo and I love it. Also have a perfectly working suido (magnet) which I may sell soon. I've tried both , but seem to like the krusell more.

I didn't say I did I just expected some thing a little more sturdy since I did pay $8.42 to ship a 1lb item that usps.com lists as costing $4.05 to ship.

The magnet does seem a little high, it looks to be over the shortcut button instead of over the 5. Does your shut off when you put it in the holster in the reverse position? Not that I expected this I was just checking the strength of the magnet.

Well the sleep function and to me the packaging was a little subpar for what I paid. Just because someone hasn't complained on the forum doesn't mean they aren't out there, maybe they just lost faith in this forum...(Ok, Ok that's drastic...this forums is the best )

Me too, so you are suggesting I e-mail them directly and say my sleep function isn't working?

David, any update on Seidio creating a holster for the 7100g? You had mentioned the possibility in a previous posting.
Thanks,
Gary

Any officers using the Seidio holster? How well does it fit on the standard leather duty belt? Does it hold the up to the daily activies, in and out of the patrol car? how does it hold up to the foot pursuit? or is it better suited for the Desk?

Default officer needs good holster

I'm an officer too and I haven't found a good holster yet. I'm going to try a few of everyone's ideas. I'll let you know if they work out.
