I'm getting ready to move my existing installation onto a new hardware platform and a real sql server (not local msde).
I'm having issues trying to get the BES to talk to the remote sql server via Windows credentials.
Unable to open BESMgmt database: [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Login failed for user
I'm currently using MSDE local and have never had this issue.
I've read the posts where you can add in reg keys for user/password which (I believe) pertains to sql login and not windows credentials.
Can it even be done with windows credentials or must I use sql authentication?
Or you can go to the Enterprise Manager and go to security-click on the account and choose the db and the type of authentication you want...I am 100% sure but try this out..i know it worked for me
