Default Blackberry on o2

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I have managed to organise one my o2 accounts to be blackberry enhabled. The plan is £15 per month for 5mb and £1 per mb thereafter. The woman at o2 couldn't help me after that. What do I need to do to set it up correctly for my e-mail etc. It all seems quite complicated. Any advice would be appreciated.

many thanks.

Damian.

Damian,

Welcome! You may want to start here with Mark's big Blackberry book of knowledge.
http://www.blackberryforums.com/showthread.php?t=252

You will be tight on data so expect to creep into the overage monthly but 1 per is not bad... seen higher than that.

Anyway, read through that link above and install your software on your PC.

No. Your SIM card (account) is not provisioned for BlackBerry properly, or you are on the wrong network. Until it shows GPRS you are going nowhere.

What O2 Tariff were you on before you added the BB Data tariff?

O2 have been pretty lame at giving me any insight on any knowledge.

I have my BB sitting there right now and i cant use it properly.

Have you got the problem sorted?

I would try to have the service books resent or do it yourselg by regestiring the device from options->Host Routing Table -> Register.
