Please Login to Remove!

Hi anyone, just downloaded some media players for my blackberry curve 3.But the problem is I can't seem to install/run the applications which are in .cod, .exe, and .zip formats.I need anyone to tutor me on how to get either of the formats run/install on my blackberry,or better still enlighten me on how to get another media player at no expense.

Please I really need help on this one.

You can't install VLC on a BlackBerry. VLC is a Windows application.

EXE files are for computers. They will not run on your BlackBerry. (Neither will a ZIP file.)

If you have a COD file, do you have the associated ALX file as well? You need that. If you have both of those files, then you need to use the BlackBerry Desktop Software (on a computer) to install the application.

Thanks motorcycle mama.I do know the vlc is an application for a computer, but when I downloaded the vlc for my blackberry,it was from a blackberry platform.and that was actually why I thought it was going to run directly on my blackberry. However, since I don't have the file formats you mentioned, can you easily suggest a third party video media player I can use to watch any video on my blackberry without me needing to go through the rigours of conversion...Thanks again

You did not download VLC for BlackBerry. It does not exist. The only thing that exists is a controller for VLC on a PC. Please search the App World for media players.
