Hi everyone,

My BB 9700 is giving me this issue, it will swtich off on its own.
what can i do please?

Have you tried a software upgrade or just re-installing the software if you have the latest version already?

Does it shut off and stay off? Or does it reboot? Is there any consistency to what you are doing or whatever when it happens?

It could be a power issue (maybe battery), some hardware issue, or software. It will be a process of elimination to identify the cause, and hopefully the solution.

The phone came with OS version 5 and I upgraded to 6 not quite long, when if goes off it reboots again.

I would try reinstalling the OS. Also, unless there is something about OS 6 that you really like, I would go back to OS 5.
