Audiobooks?

I have gone through the entire user guide online and see no mention of how to download and listen to audiobooks. I know this is possible but what is the process? Do apps need to be downloaded? Is there a bookmarking capability? Come to think about it, I don't see any mention of ebooks either. I would appreciate any and all information on this or a reference to where I can find it. Thanks. (I do not yet have the Playbook, so I just have access to the user guide online)
