I successfully downloaded and installed (the message said) Blackberry Maps. Where the heck is it? Online I see lots of instructions for installing it. Can't find out how to find and use it. Not in main menu. Not in "applications".

If you are on AT&T, I believe that AT&T still blocks BBMaps from showing.

There's a work around by installing something called the "ribbon". Search Google or the forum and you will find instructions.

Alternately, use an application such as QuickLaunch to start BBMaps.

Or better still, use Google Maps.

Yep. ATT. Tried the ribbon. Got a message saying BBMaps was not installed. I rather think it is. When installing BBMaps, I got an "install successful" message.

I'm ready to give up on that. Google Maps would do fine. Question: Am I going to get all messed up with that since I already have ATT Navigation and (I think) BBMaps installed? Should I somehow UNinstall those things first? If so, how might I go about that?

Those apps will not affect or interfere with Google Maps. Nor will Google Maps interfere with those apps.
