Is there any blackberry software for navigation that actually works in the uk? The latest one I tried, ubinav, did not even work in Portsmouth city centre (using Vodafone) and google maps did not work in Exeter (using Orange)

You need a good cell signal and a BB data plan for maps. For GPS, you need a clear view of the sky to acquire and keep the GPS signal.

Do you have those?

i went to the UK last month and i didn't have troubles at all finding the necessary locations with Google maps. it sometimes really saved me a lot of time. having the possibility with google maps to just enter a companies name is amazing
