Hey all,

New on here! But my Torch, had it for about 6 months now. Over this time there have been times where I will receive Text Messages, and even if they are only 160 characters, will not completely load. When this happens, i am having to restart the phone (take the battery out) just so the phone can restart and load the whole message.

Has anyone else had this problem? Its SO frustrating!

yeah like buddy said above me, you may wanna do or get someone to update ur phone with a newer operating system ie an OS. you could also wait for maybe 5 minutes for ur torch to pull the rest of the message. i've noticed that people who have really old and crappy phones will send a 160char message in multiple messages. it's terrible. my phone sometimes stalls and then i have to wait like 5 - 10 mins to get the entire message.

the other scenario could be that whom ever you're getting the halfed messages from, has a damaged phone. this began to happen with my friends crappy htc and my other friends ancient ericsson. Both would send f-up messages in completely different ways. the htc would send maybe one or two messages during a convo and then would stop sending them for hours. the ericsson would literally send half messages. Then she'd have to resend them cause i'd have no idea what she was talking about. at first i chalked it up to her being a woman, lol. ;)

so see if u can up the os OR find out from whom ever ur receiving them haflassed messages, if their phone is fine.
