Morning all,

I apologise in advance if this has been asked and answered a few times in the past, though from my searching the forums I am unable to find the same situation.

I yesterday got my new Blackberry Torch, having updated it from the Blackberry Curve (OMG it is so much better! To have the internet work remotely quickly is such a blessing!)

Anyways, on my Curve I had my work e-mail linked up between my Blackberry and my Outlook. It worked perfectly... when I deleted an e-mail on my outlook, it deleted on my Blackberry, and vice versa.

Now, I have tried numerous different settings on the Torch and no matter what I do on Outlook it is simply not deleting off my Blackberry.

I've read into similar situations about how to get it reconciling as above using BES and so on, but my company DOES NOT use BES.

From what I gather I should not of been able to reconcile my Blackberry after deleting from Outlook without BES... is this true? And if it is how did my Curve manage to do this?

Any help, as always, will be greatly appreciated.

Was the work account set up as IMAP rather than POP on the old device?

It's a microsoft exchange server... is that seperate to IMAP and POP?
