Anyone know of a way to disable this? I dont want added traffic.

I see in BB topology -> BB Domain -> Component View -> Email that the settings for some stuff is there, but dont see a way to disable it.

I dont want to restrict access either because I'd like them to view in Outlook, just not on the BB.

Anyone know of a way?

Public folder sync is not enabled by default, so, unless you have enabled it yourself, it is disabled and does not add any traffic.

Are you saying that your users see and can access public folders on their devices?

I'm seeing my BES being FW blocked to my public folders server and it's adding a ton of block attempts..

I dont even want it to attempt, I'd like to shut off the service.

Under

BB topology -> BB Domain -> Component View -> Email

Click "Edit component" and expand all the Public folders and un-tick them. Make sure you see them all by clicking on the Plus sign to the left of the top-level folder.
