Default Backup, Update, Enterprise settings

Does the backup process back up the settings for the Enterprise activation when upgrading the OS? My wife got a 8900 from work with OS 4.6 on it, and I'd like to update it to OS 5.0, but am unsure how to ensure that the settings are retained. Or is the only way to do it with the password and stuff that she'll probably have to get from her company I imagine. The phone won't display the password right?

The upgrade will do a full device backup as part of the upgrade (assuming you don't uncheck the default option to do so).

Your wife will need to call the BES Admin to get a new Enterprise Activation password, though, in order to re-activate her device to continue functioning. She may want to check with the BES Admin before proceeding....
