Default .zip file asking for changes to system

Please Login to Remove!

I was attempting to download a theme in Crackberry. There was no OTA, instead a .zip file. But when I started to download it (was redirected to a web hosting site), my laptop said that it was attempting to make changes and if I wanted to continue. I said no because I don't recall ever downloading a .zip file that caused that to pop up.
Is that something that is normal, or did I do the right thing?

Personally, I would stay away. Did your antivirus software display an alert?

You may have done the right thing. I probably would not have clicked anything, not even cancel, but pressed and held the power button and immediately shut down the computer.

Are you seeing any weird behavior from the laptop?

No, and I did just that. I did a hard shut down.
But my anti-virus (McAfee) didn't alert me to anything, and my site adviser doesn't work as swiftly when I'm tethered as I am. I think I'm safe though because it never actually downloaded, but warned me before it started.
Thanks though. It just reassures me that I did the right thing.
