Hey everyone I just got my phone in the mail today and I plugged it in the wall and it is showing me a battery with a red slash through it. It doesnt show any signs of turning on other than that and its been plugged in for an hour. I have taken the battery and sim card out a bunch of times. This is a brand new phone and battery

Take it back for an exchange. Could be a bad battery, or maybe the charging port is damaged.

It might be the battery. Try going to a tmobile location and ask to try a battery there. At least then you'll know if it the battery or the charging port. If its the battery, then have them exchange it.
