Hello.. I have a 9550.. I was just wondering... will my screen break if I press it too hard? Thx! Hoping for some advices..

Agree, more likely to crack from pressure if left in your pocket and you sit on it rather than a finger press.

Yeah thanks.. cause i think i applied a little too much pressure on the top left corner of the screen and now it's deeper than the other 3 corners..cant get it back to orginal state

If this is causing a keyboard malfunction I would personally go for a warranty repair (if your Blackberry is still covered by warranty that is)

Is this a general problem I wonder (with the 9500 machines)

i tried to break my old storm1 a few times by pressing on the screen as hard as possible, it never worked

Actually, this was a known issue with the 9550 when it first came out. My top left corner "sits" lower than any other corner of the screen. It causes no input problems with the phone and is really an aesthetics issue only. I have read in other forums that Verizon was exchanging them for this reason. It may be worth checking in to if it bothers you. Personally, mine functions fine and I am not worried about it.

I used a hammer once when it froze. NOT GOOD!

yeah.. the top left part kinda irritates me..
and also .. the top most part of the 9550 near between the power and mute button, its kinda opening. its not that intact.
