Call Log Problem

Everytime i make a call and the recepient doesnt answer etc. It starts putting messages into my sms inbox saying "You tried this number and the call failed" etc etc. It has only started doing this recently and on its own. Anybody know how i can deactivate this please ? I tried phone options and set call logging messages to none. Its still happening.
