Default BES Express w/Exchange 2010 on Server 2008 R2 64 Bit

Please Login to Remove!

I need to install BES Express on a SINGLE server install of Exchange 2010 running on Server 2008 R2 64 Bit and I after reading several docs and Bing'ing my head off, I have three questions:

1: Is "BlackBerry database notification system" required, and by required I mean how much difficulty will be caused with out it in environments with less than 30 Blackberry's.

2: Has anyone successfully run BES Express on R2 of Windows, 2008 64 Bit (and yes, I know it is unsupported) and if so was their any weirdness?

3: Has anyone successfully run BES Express in a Hyper-V environment. I can't imagine this being a problem but for some reason RIM's documentation (not all of which I have read so far) mentions VMWare but not Hyper-V. I assume this is just RIM being anti-MS but I thought I should check.

Your assistance is appreciated.

I can't say anything about the first 2 questions, but I just installed BESX on a SBS 2008 x64 system that was in a Hyper-V environment...
