Has anyone had any experience with the extended battery (1600 mAh) versus the standard battery (1400 mAh).

I have a Storm 2 and the battery life is not great.

You will get a little more life for the better battery, but not an extreme amount

Thanks for the information. I did some more research and looked at some other postings and some people have been derogatory about the quality of the batteries on EBay and sort of hint at it could cause significant problems with my BB. Do you have any information concerning that?

The batteries on eBay that come from trusted US sellers don't seem to have a lot of negatives. It's the cheap ones from overseas that seem to be a little suspect.
Some models have slim 1600 mAh and slim 1700 mAh, larger than these two seem to become extended batteries and need the back cove also.
Seidio batteries are great, but a little pricey.
