Anyone had any of their symbols for FB, contacts,messages go out? Can this be fixed?

I am speaking of all the squares on front of Storm 2 like browser, phone, media calendar, my SMS and MMS is dim. Happened after update!

Are these hidden icons that are showing because "show all" is checked?
