theinvisibleshield.com on my 8700c
Please Login to Remove!
Just got this screen protector based on comments here...
So far, I love it - very easy to apply...very clear.
the true test will be if it stays attached and doesnt peel off over time.
now...if innopocket or rhinoskin would just make a metal case for the 8700!!! Everyone that wants one, please go to innopocket.com and email them asking for one.

I got the 8700 protector (they make one now) and am not pleased.
The little holes for the earpiece speaker are semi covered, and I had to cut them out myself. The protector doesn't cover the entire screen area.
I wrote to the invisibleshield folks and haven't received a response in over a week. Some lifetime service!
I would think twice before buying this specific protector from them. The iPod and PSP ones I have are fine.

Ok, I take it back!
I just got off the phone with their support staff, and they are sending me a new today!
They have redesigned the protector to not cover the earpiece holes, based on user feedback.
Even though they never responded to my email, they are very professional and courteous. Not many companies offer such great service!

So are you guys applying the entire shield (front and back)?
How does it work with the OEM plastic holster? Does it catch/scratch/peel?
I put a whopper scratch in my battery door when putting on my seatbelt in the car. The local store kindly swapped me doors with a DOA unit, so I am new again and want to protect the device.

Maybe we are talking about a different product. I am talking about the "FUll Body Protection" product found here.

That's strange, John because they sent me an email saying that they had redesigned the shield and if I wanted one to reply. I did and received the newly designed shield four days later.

I just received and installed a new Invisible Shield last night. The speaker hole was cut out (although not perfectly so I had to go over it with an Exacto blade a little). Application was easy enough and I let it cure overnight. So far, it's the best screen protector I've tried. I've tried some old PDA screens I had laying around and one I found on eBay, but none of them were clear (so they distorted the image and reduced the resolution). The only one I found to be acceptable was my PSP screen protectors, but they lacked an adhesive so all four corners would not stay put. Looked pretty dumb, but was crystal clear. So far, it looks like the $12 spent on the Invisible Shield will be worth it.
