Hey everyone,

I am attempting to setup chinese input on a Bold 9700 but am having no luck.

I have followed all the steps found in this thread (page 4 specifically): BlackBerry Bold 9700 Traditional and Simplified Ch... - BlackBerry Support Community Forums

This hasn't work either.

Any advice from anyone who has gotten this to work?

This worked like a charm. I had tried other versions but this one worked per the linked thread. Thanks!!

You are able to input chinese now?? Not just read it?
I am having issues being able to input chinese... I've tried several different builds, ALL LANGUAGES, EAST ASIAN... Can't get chinese input to show up.

It worked fine on my first bold 9000.

Yep, I am able to input chinese now. Be sure to follow that link's advice. If you try to use the Application Loader through the Desktop software you won't find the Pinyin input, but if you navigate to c:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader and run the loader.exe from there you'll get Input options.
