I cleaned my trackball following the guidance of a couple of youtube videos. Problem solved, trackball goes in all directions.

Now the menu button does not work. I did blow out the trackball space using canned air and wiped clean with a q-tip.

Thoughts/suggestions/dianosis?

Yes, did battery pull and updated software using BB desktop mgr.

Has it gotten wet by any chance?

Yes, a few drops on the keyboard 24 hrs ago.

Menu key worked but trackball didn't go to the right. Cleaned the trackball and now the menu key doesn't work.

ucket of rice worth a try?

Device is 3 years old.
