My emails and texts are showing up in the same message folder. How am I able to separate them?

If it is theme controlled, it may not allow you to. That's how my theme is right now.

Hmm, thats not where my setting. I have to goto Messages > Options > Inbox Settings > REMOVE the check from SMS

Another icon for SMS should show up on your home screen.
