I am curious, do you have Gmail setup for just IMAP or do you have POP enabled also? I tried this morning to delete an email on Gmail and it is still on my Blackberry almost 10 hours later. I have IMAP enabled but POP disabled and mine only seems to work one way.

I read mine and deleted it on Gmail. About 20 minutes later, it is still unread and on the BB. 9000 on ATT 4.6.0.304

Even hit RECONCILE NOW on the BB and still there.

Read on the BB and almost immediately showed read in Gmail.

Deleted on the BB and almost immediately showed deleted in Gmail.

Seem to work very well from BB to Gmail.

Yes, that is the way it is suppose to work.

1 way from BB to Gmail, not from Gmail to BB.

Note: Still the delete messages remain on my BlackBerry.

Understand that, just testing the PC to BB synch that several people reported as working now.

After several hours, the message I read on Gmail still shows unread on my BB, which is the way it has been in the past.

I'll be danged, I just realized that I did not have my Blackberry set to synchronize deleted items. I set that and deleted an email on Gmail and within minutes it was deleted on my Blackberry as well. Still doesn't seem to synchronize the read status from Gmail to Blackberry, but it does sync the read status from Blackberry to Gmail. I can live with that.

The synch deleted items is checked on mine. Whatever I do on the BB is reflected on GMail, but nothing I do on Gmail is reflected on the BB.

I checked the box to sync deleted items.. however it hasn't worked yet. (And it's been an hour or two now )

Maybe I have to remove and re-add the account?

I am testing this with GMail accounts.

I have tried my Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail, and Roadrunner accounts. So far, none of them have changed anything on the BB.

I generally read them on the BB anyway, so it's not a gamechanger for me, but it would be handy.

If I can't read them on the BB, I usually just delete from the BB only so I can read them in the regular application.

Do you have Gmail setup for just IMAP or do you have POP enabled also? I just have IMAP enabled and POP disabled and mine works just fine, after I enabled sync deleted items.

I disabled POP access yesterday.

I think I will try removing and re-adding the account later on this week to see if that helps.

Ok.. Got this to work on one of my GMail accounts.. it only deleted 3 items.. Tried it on my second GMail account it hasn't worked yet.

Disabled POP Access on that account so I'll see if it kicks in,
