TOday i purchased my T-Mobile Blackberry 9700 (UNLOCKED), yes this was my First Blackberry Phone. So need some Help.

1. How can i install Gmail App or Configure my Gmail via Wi-fi.

2. I tried to install the Gmail App, after the The installation when i click the Gmail icon in Download it shows the error critical tunnel failure

No since you can't even get online to check your emails via web-based email accounts (using the BB browser) such as Google/Yahoo/Etc (thus forfeiting POP/IMAP email accounts).

yes....you get a data plan from your carrier.

some carriers do not stock blackberry's and hence do not offer bb data plans, if so you're out of luck with your current carrier. however if they sell bb's then they probably do offer the data plans.

i'm new to the forum, and not real sure how to post a new thread, but i have the gmail app on my BB 9700, but it won't launch. i can't figure out why it won't. i've even uninstalled and reinstalled twice, but it still won't launch. any help would be appreciated. thanks.
