Map 'tiles' are also smaller, I find it appears to download faster because of that.
I wonder if ReqWireless had something to do with this

Worked perfect on the 8700c on Cingular. One thing it sure misses with addresses by about 3/4 of block.

I downloaded this successfully, but I misclicked with the wheel when it was asking about whether to allow connections. Now it doesn't want to connect; it just sits there and says "Loading" after it tells me I don't have a connection.
Anyone know how to change the defaults so it allows the connections to go through? I deleted the app, reset the BB, and reinstalled it, but I get the same results.
EDIT: Never mind. I figured it out.

I didn't have luck at first because I was using the Blackberry Browser ... seems to be going okay on my NOL (WAP) browser.

Whoa ... this app is AWESOME. Do the search feature when you're zoomed in on a sat image of your hometown and the tags pop up on all the local locations and everything -- and even on Nextel it's pretty fast. This is awesome.

It appears on the Google Getting Started page that you have to select the brand, model, and plan, but I don't have links on these to select. What am I doing wrong?

Same problem that lot of us are having with 7290's on TMO or just with TMO period.

I finally got it to work on my TMO 7290. I had to emulate MS Pocket IE in order for the options to come up where you can pick your phone brand, type, etc. Before with the Microsoft IE emulation I was never able to get these options. So for those who are having trouble like I did, change your emulation to MS Pocket.

How did you figure it out. I was able to load the application on my BB, but when I try to run it, I get the error message: "Network Unavailable..." I'm wondering if I have some settings that need to be adjusted. Any help would be appreciated. I have a 7100T

Getting a Network Unavailable error on a T-Mobile 7100t. There is a fix, however, the text for the fix gets cut off at the bottom of the error window.
"Network Configuration error. To reparit it: Exit this application. Go to 'Options > Service Book' or 'Tools > Settings > Service Book'. Delete the entry 'IPPP for 5 Click (IPPP)' or 'E-Mail set up [IPPP]'. Then go to 'Options > Host Routing Table' or 'Tools >"
The error gets cut off here and there is no way to scroll to see the rest of the fix.
Anyone have any ideas?

Works great - I had it on my Nokia 6230 for a while...only problem on my 7100g is it's SLLLOOWW since there's no EDGE. This is a killer app on a BB with faster service like EVDO/EDGE.
Still, fun to have.

I have no way of changing my emulation mode. It's stuck on blackberry. I went to tzones mode/Options/brownser config/and when I highlight browser emode, its not a changeable option. Any ideas?

ok, I figured out how to change the emulation mode. I've reloaded the software, and tried both Wap and IE with no success. Any other settings that I should check?

Press wheel and choose register now from the menu would be the next step they are suggesting. This would reload the service books they had you delete.
