Default Bold 9700 screen replacement...

Please Login to Remove!

I scratched the sceen on my new bold 9700. Is the 9700 like the curve where you can just purchase the cover without having to purchase an entire new LCD? The scratch isn't deep but it really annoys me. Any advice would be much appreciated!

I am afraid you will have to get one of these:

BlackBerry Bold 9700 OEM LCD screen - 002/111 - Cellular Nationwide Network - Cellular Accessories

I have bought and replaced plenty of screens for a couple of 9000 in my company and these guys have the OEM replacement screens. But you need tools as well.

Good Luck with that!

And then: Ultimate Screen Guard

I feel for you, after scratching my 8310 screen with about two calls placed on it! Made sure that would not happen with my 9700.... Good luck.

I have the exact same problem. A small nick on the screen, it seems silly to buy a new LCD when all you need is the plastic covering it. Somebody must know where to find one

If it were only that simple. The LCD and plastic screen are ONE MOULDED PIECE on the 9700.
