Hey,

I have a Bold, but I want to change the carrier's email address. i.e., right now it's . But I want to change it to , to be consistent with my other email addresses. Is this possible? It lets me change the *name* of the device's email account, but I don't think it's letting me have a different email address.

I'm not an AT&T client, but I know with rogers, we have a seperate website for admin of our blackberries.. And in there, we can change our e-mail address and resend service books and such.

Call AT&T and ask them for the website to admin your phone.. It should allow you to add and remove other address's that are pushed to your phone..

Delete the carrier address you have now (from above in BIS), and create a new one, with the name you want.

Separate discussion - please consider not using that address. You have no other mailbox for backup and its very difficult to protect against SPAM
