I like to listen to bunch of different songs on my blackberry/media player/car. And generally I have a bunch of different songs from different artists that I would like to rate as I listen to them.

I was wondering if RIM is planning to make any changes to the media player, for example to allow ratings (like 5 Star system WM phones had for over 5 years) and if possible allow syncing them with Windows Media Player.

Don't know what RIM is planning, but you'll never know, you might just see it.

Why not just make a bunch of play lists?

Playlist is not an issue, the issue is being able to spot good songs.
Like a way to bookmark/spot/move the songs into a playlist or tag them somehow on the blackberry.

What I was recommending was you know what music you like so why not just throw them in a big playlist, same concept.

That's the only work around until that type of feature is implemented, also remember this is a BlackBerry not an iPod, as much I love my Blackberry I have an iPod in my car plugged in for music, it's just easier to sync and manage in my opinion.
