Smile Jvm 545 Please Can Somebody Help Me!!!

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,
Today I woke up with the JVM 545 eroor coming up on my blackberry.
It is only 6 weeks old, so I went into the 02 shop and they told me I would probably be able to fix it myself.

I have been sat at my computer for the last 3 hours to no avail and I need to fix it asap, because i need it for work.

Desktop Manager and OS are installed on my computer.
I have followed various instructions on other forums etc, but nothing seems to be working.

When I click on application loader it is saying 'there is no software available on your device.'
On connections- Its is picking up my blackberry pin, so Im not sure why it is saying this.

Im not bothered if I lose all my data.

If anybody can help me it would be much appreciated.

Did you delete the vendor.xml file?

By the way, did you wipe with JL_CMDER?

If you have not wiped yet and still have the OS on the blackberry, try a hard reset before you do anything else. Pull the batter for about 30 seconds and see if that corrects things.

Keep the blackberry backed up in case you do need to wipe the blackberry and resinstall the OS.

Go to the 8300 section and read the sticky at the top for your specific device. The latest OS and instructions should be there.

When you turn the blackberry on, do you see 507 error. If so that is no OS on the blackberry. And in that case, connect the blackberry to the computer and run loader.exe. It is in the same folder you found vendor.xml.

You will need to download and run the device software installer (the OS) for your model beforehand, if you have not done so.

The messgae displayed is jvm error 545?
I have installed OS.
aND I HAVE TRIED TO RUN THE jL_CMDER

but as i am following the instructions for various forums, and i can load the it, but when i click on Y(YES) to delete eveything;it continues to keep flashing, it is not picking up on my prompts?

I also have a password on my blackberry and it says in the instructions that the jl_cmder will ask me for this, howver it hasnt done so?

I have deleted the vendor file definately.

Im not sure what my next step is?
im worried that i havent installed OS properley? I went on a website and put in my model and my provider and followed the instuctions; so i assume I have.

But nothing seems to be working and its driving me insane!

You have installed the desktop software (desktop manager) on your computer? If not, do it.

Next, see the following:

http://www.blackberryfaq.com/index.p...ng_Jl_Cmder%3F

And

http://www.blackberryfaq.com/index.p...nnect_and_wipe

Follow the directions exactly.

Then reinstall the OS. Look at the stickied threads at the top of the series forum for your model. Find the thread for the latest OS for your model. Follow the instructions there to install the OS.
