Default Cleaning up Calendars

Please Login to Remove!

From what I understand about Calendars, there's one for each e-mail you add to your device. On mine I have a gmail.com, blackberry.net, facebook and a personal imap e-mail address for a total of 4 calendars. I've set the default CICAL to the gmail.com account, which according to Database Sizes shows 6 entries, however the device default calendar shows only 1 entry. Shouldn't this match up with what I've set as the default calendar, in this case 6?

Since the blackberry.net account is only accessible through the device and not on a computer, I take it there's no reason to have a calendar associated with this account?

Because gmail only fetches 24 weeks worth of calendar entries, I'd like to have either the blackberry.net (if possible) or the personal imap e-mail set as a calendar that contains something simple like birthdays so that it's ALWAYS there. How would I associate Outlook to this e-mail address in such a way that it matches up with this e-mail account simply to import a Calendar?

Each calendar is associated with an email account. You are only able to sync the default email account with Outlook. not sure about Google, I don't use it because it only syncs so much and not your whole calendar.

You can clear your calendar in back-up and restore, on the right side. Then set your default email account and re-sync.

I found that BB DM was deleting all calendar events except the most recent. I recovered the events from Outlook's deleted folder.

The sync settings are to sync all events, so I cannot determine why it deletes older events. My Outlook calendar shows only recurring events for dates before the latest sync.

Looks like the email account association to calendar events has created problems and new limits rather than enhancing the calendaring feature.
