Besides speed, simultaneous voice + data is the point of 3G. Unfortunately for us CDMA users, even though we have 3G speed with EVDO Rev.A, we still cannot get voice and data at the same time. Supposedly the technology can do it but the carriers (Verizon, Sprint) never built in that capability.

That's the ONE thing I miss from AT&T - simultaneous voice and data. Their 3G speed was nothing special where I live - often no better than EDGE. But getting an expected email with important figures WHILE on a call talking about those figures was really nice.
