Default Sync Blackberry Wirelessly AND Cabled

Is there a way to sync a blackberry calendar wirelessly and cabled without having to go into Desktop Manager and change from Blackberry Wireless Sync to Lotus Notes? I have been unable to do this so I am not sure if it just isn't available or I am doing something wrong.

Are you on BES?

The only way I know of to wirelessly sync calendar without a BES plan is to use Google calendar and Google Sync.
