Default Freeing Memory On The Bold.

Please Login to Remove!

Hey guys,

My Blackberry Bold has really bad memory. It runs really slow all the time, and I'm not sure what to do to make it run smoother. I've deleted the programs that I don't use, and I try to use the Memory Cleaner app as often as possible. Anyone else got any ideas to how I can make my Bold run faster/smoother and/or delete memory?

Wirelessly posted

Look in the general forums. There is a sticky there on how to free up memory on your phone.

First off, go to options > memory and tell me the app mem. Then, do a battery pull, also, make sure you close the apps you are using and that they are not running in the background.

Go to options--Security Options--Memory Cleaning enabled it as u can select ideal time .this is automatic process it can set for 5 mins etc,

Second thing try to pull out battery after 3/4 days so this can free your memory

third option upgrade to latest os as new os frees lot memory.like in my case i upgraded to 282 i have 48 mb free earlier it was 34/36 max all the time

good luck

memory cleaning actually doesnt free up any app memory.
It cleans memory already freed.

Enabling it, does nothing.

Best thing to do is to get rid of unused apps & languages, clear call log/message outbox from time to time and do a soft reset or battery pull every few days.
