I have installed the latest desktop manager. I used it with my first storm for a few weeks and everything is fine. The 1st storm was upgraded to the leaked .167 bb software.

I just got another new storm with the .148 bb software installed.

But when I connect the new storm to the laptop, the desktop manager does not recognize the new storm.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Does the PC see the phone? It should be listed as an additional drive. If not try using the add new hardware to make the PC find the phone. If the PC doent see the phone then DM can't see it either.

Found the cause. The Missing Sync is causing the problem. I am on mac with vmware, so I had to kill all missing sync processes for the vmware windows xp to recognize the bb.
