After the initial load, that was the case for me... a battery pull resolved that quickly.

Man this is frustrating. Its all installed and LOOKS like it should work. But no voicemail notifications at all.

I've called into voicemail (hold 1) and set up the voicemail through there...
I've reset the feature online...
I've pulled the battery on the device a couple times...

Still, no voicemail notifications at all. Not the normal ones, not anything with visual voicemail.

This sucks.

Do you have the VVM icon on your BB?

Yep. I can go into it (empty list). I can go into options and set my greeting. I can switch to the saved messages folder...

But no notifications, no voicemails of any kind (unless i call in to check).

tlmii-- I had the same problem. I had activated the VVM service on the ATT website BEFORE doing the software upgrade. After the upgrade...got the icon but no VVM service.

What worked for me: Go back to "manage my features" on the ATT site, delete VVM, wait for confirmation from ATT (30 seconds), then again "manage my features" and re-activate VVM once more.

All is well now. Good luck.

tried that once before, just tried it again...

Removed the feature... waited until i got the message.
Added the feature... waited until i got the email.
Waited a few more minutes.
Called voicemail... set up voicemail.
Clicked into visual voicemail. Entered password.

Had someone leave me a message - no notification at all :(

All is well except my BES Admin isn't able to get me set back up until tomorrow. BB runs much faster, battery life seems much better, I have a ton of application memory and VVM works great!

Default Os 4.6.0.297

Besides the new bloat, VVM, and changing from 3G to 2G, what are the other list of changes that we are benefiting from, that I cant see. Please if anyone has a list, that would be great. This version suppose to have MS Silverlight and Flash, but cant tell.

Auto dial GF; auto cook dinner; auto order beer. If you can't find those apps, then look again.

The OS is working well on the Rogers network. Installation went smoothly after deleting the vendor.xml file. Been running 7 hours on BIS and tested all my apps successfully.

Yes, it's bbm 5 for OS 4.6. Maybe you didn't install it correctly. What method did you use?

Will this work on my 8330? If I install it twice, will I have BBM 10?
