Sorry, I normally have a more detailed subject title...I'm just panicking right now. I used JL_Cmder to wipe my handheld. Now when I'm trying to install the brand new software that I downloaded and installed, nothing happens. I go into the Common Files folder and find the AppLoader/Loader.exe file, but when I tried to do that, it basically brought up this screen:
The Blackberry Desktop Software does not have the Blackberry Device Software for the device that you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator.
When I try to actually go through the Desktop Manager, it gets somewhere and says "No sottware update is required for your device"
Browse your PC for vendor.xml and delete all instances of it.

lol, that was it. Thanks. I feel terrible - I always see the "vendor.xml" step in blackberry software threads, but I don't ever remember having to actually use that step. Thanks though!
