Default Best Multiprotocol Instant Message Client?

Please Login to Remove!

I'm looking for a good Instant Messenger. Ideally, I would like to use it for Sametime, but integrating Google Talk would be helpful as well.

Beejive looks like a good option, but it doesn't appear to have a download for 4.7. Any other options?

I don't recall ever seeing a BlackBerry Sametime client.

BlackBerry - BlackBerry | Wireless Handheld Devices, Software & Services from Research In Motion (RIM)

and

IBM Lotus Sametime Mobile

I also had this one on my 8830, but it was such a memory hog (and was clunky). I just need a IM app that supports the Sametime protocol - for instance, on my desktop I use Pidgin which supports Sametime.

Right you are - I only looked for the Office Communicator app and never noticed the Sametime app!

BeeJive is awesome. They have a beta for the Storm. The version available for download at the website (via your BB) works just fine on the Tour.

BeeJive.

No comparison, no competition. It is the only app on the BlackBerry I've ever paid for, and it is worth every penny. Smooth, stable, never crashes, automatically reconnects, intuitive interface, big icons...and the latest version logs you in to Facebook chat (a must for me, AIM/Yahoo is blocked on government networks; Facebook is not)
