so i cant get bbm on my new tour to work, what gives? do i need to wait for 5.0 to be oficcially released?

Well, assuming you downloaded the correct version, you also must READ which some people have problems doing.

It is a BETA release.. Thus, not guarenteed to work on any device. It may or may not.

You can try again, or just stick with the stock ( 4.7?).

I think he's talking about the RELEASE version that came with the phone which is experiencing issues.

No, you shouldn't have to upgrade to get it to work. I've had the phone since release and BBM has worked fine up until yesterday when I experienced difficulty in getting my outgoing messages delivered, and receiving messages was also problematic. I think there was a problem with BBM this week as some of my other friends have also experienced a lack of message delivery, etc.

If you can be more descriptive about what the problem your having is, you won't get such useless responses. As of right now, I haven't seen any complaints about RELEASE 4.7.
