not check mark.
Go into the phone application and select menu, then options, then general options, then change *restrict my identity* to always...

When you set the Restrict My Identity field toYes in the BlackBerry device phone options and then attempt to place a phone call, the call fails and you receive the following voice message:

This network feature is not provided on your service.

The BlackBerry device is prefixing the incorrect string before the call: instead of the correct prefix of *30# or#31#, the BlackBerry device is prefixing#31.

Workaround
Set the Restrict My Identity field toNo and manually prefix outgoing calls with*30# if you would like to restrict your identity. To do so, dial *30# plus the number you are calling.

To display the Restrict My Identity field,

In the Home screen, click the Phone icon.
Click the trackwheel and select Options. The Phone Options screen appears.
Select General Options. The General Options screen appears, featuring the Restrict My Identity field.

If you had read the others posts by that poster, he is copying and pasting from BB manuals into threads where it is not relevant.

That post above was also not relevant at this stage, if at all.
