You must have OS 4.5 on your device. Go to Options > About to verify.

If you have 4.5, point your browser to m.youtube.com.

Ok well I have v4.5 and I went to m.youtube.com and then when I tried to play a video it just opens media player and then nothing happens. Any suggestions?

Try pulling your battery for about 30 seconds. Not all videos will play, try a few different videos.

it should depend on whether you have a data plan or not. if you do, then it should be covered within the usage of the plan.

Welcome to the forums. You will not be charged as it is included in your data. Keep in mind that your data is not unlimited as they state. It's capped at 5gb. If you go over that, I'd expect some charges. However, I don't foresee you going over that.

I see, good to know. As you may have noticed, I'm on T-mobile, so I had an option of choosing whether to add a data plan or not, but that is not the case anymore...
