Default cannot delete BES pushed apps

Please Login to Remove!

I have an app that probably was under a policy of 'required' as there is no delete option. Have tried to push the app again with 'optional' policy but still can't delete. Can't use upgrade of app because even though it installs there is no icon to run, just listed in the applications list.

Anyone else had and resolved this? Only way I can see is to reinstall OS

Do you still have the software config for that app? If so, then set it to optional. If you don't have the software config you could recreate the software config and set to optional. Otherwise, wiping the device is probably all that's left to do.

Create another software config and assign the disallow policy to the top level element ("Application Software"). This will uninstall the software and ask you for a reboot on the device.

>>Create another software config and assign the disallow policy

This is what I've done for my apps.
A separate software config policy for each - Add, Optional, Remove.
Add=Required, Optional=Allows manual removal, Remove=forced Removal.

disallow ok will give that a try. thanks.

where is the force removal or removal option?

ok have tried it, but getting multiple instances msg remove all but desired version. But I want both.
OC 2.1.18
OC 2.1.15

so i have to delete the allowed v18 which i have sent to some people (will they be ok if i delete it?) so leaving v15 for me to set to disallow. This will uninstall everyone who has v15. I then have to delete v15 config, reset up v18 config and deploy to all.

Sound right?
