Default Bluetooth stack is dead

Please Login to Remove!

I have a 7250 which has been working fine for the last couple of months, but suddenly my BT icon has gone (it's not hidden) and the device won't pair with any other BT devices. IT can see my headset but won't pair with it, but my headset will pair with other BT devices.

I've pulled the battery to reboot it, no difference.

Any recommendations?

For anyone else with a similar problem who stumbles onto this thread, I upgraded from 4.0.0.204 to 4.0.2.29 and now it's all working.

I'm having the same issue with my 7250. I have the new os installed but the Bluetooth icon is still not showing up.

After upgrading did you re-pair your headset?

Sorry, should have put this in my previous post. When I try to pair my device it won't allow me to. When I turn on my headset (motorola, it's not sitting in front of me so I am not sure of the exact model) a dialog comes up requesting a pin for about half a second and then dissappears.

I am currently experiencing this same issue. Is there a fix out there? Still running 4.0.0.204.

I have tried to re-pair the headset and it will not pair up. I have also hard reset the BB to no avail. Bluetooth was working great when I went to bed and not working when I turned on by BB in the am.

For the record, since the upgrade everything is still running perfectly. It's considerably more stable.
