Hi... I cant remember if I can open pdf file on Bold or not. I thought I was able to open pdf file before the upgrade...

I can open word...

How can I / what do I need to do in order to read pdf files on my Bold?

I am able to open a pdf document that comes through my OWA setup but i am not able to open a pdf directly or an attachment on any other mail.

Hi.. what is OWA? now i remembered I was able to open pdf files before... dont know what happened when I upgraded the OS

The Bold doesn't have the capability to natively open .pdf files. There are a few apps out there that will allow for this, and other file formats (aerize file explorer, beamberry, PDF-to-Go, to name a few).

I use the Docs-to-Go Premium, which comes with PDF-to-Go, and it works fine, but with one caveat: it's PRICEY! If I wasn't able to expense it, I would never have bought it, but it does work.

One last thing: no matter which solution you go with, the reading of .PDF files on the Bold, or any other mobile device leaves something to be desired. Yes, you'll be able to read the files, but depending on the formatting of the .pdf file and your device's screen resolution, it will be a challenge.

OWA - Outlook Web Access. I have configured to get my work emails. So I am able to open any PDF attachments with that mail, but not other emails.
