Tried to search for the solution here but no joy. Hopefully someone can advise.

I installed 1.5.031 Facebook app and de-selected the calendar synchronisation. However, Facebook was installed as the default Calendar (as mentioned in other posts). My problem is a little different however:

1. The FACEBOOK calendar in the service book menu is the only CICAL. I can however select a default calendar within the BB calendar app. (I have resent service books and the problem remains).
2. I now have a number of Facebook entries on a different calendar.

My question is how do I restore my default calendar and delete the facebook CICAL. Plus how can i transfer my entries on the facebook calendar to my default calendar.

As bad as many users wanted FB I find that it causes more trouble than it should. I just spent most if not all of Saturday having to rearrange my calender because of FB. I deleted FB then all my calendar entries defaulted to device default.

Options->Advanced Options->Default Services->Calendar (CICAL) select your default calendar. That should do the job

Download and install it again. BoyGeniusReport mentioned a bug fix on 1.5.0.32.

Anyone know where I can get 1.3 again?? 1.5 has totally messed with my calendar and I'm done trying to fix it.

Luckily my calendar stays synced with my Outlook. So I opened the DM software, went to Backup/Restore, then Advanced and cleared the calendar and calendar - all databases. I then made sure that my normal calendar was the default on in the device as stated above. After that, I did a synchronization and all was well. Facebook kept its own entries and mine were separated again.

Not too impressed with FB 1.5. Not only it messes up my calander, it also added picture and varies information on my contacts. I uninstall it with DM but the Facebook CICAL entry was still there in the Service book and I had to delete it manually.

Thank you this is what I needed to do all along. My calendar had switched to only showing birthdays. Now I have it working again, I just need to re-enter all my calendar items under the new "calendar color".

I deleted fb until the dupe calendar issue is fixed.
