Default DataVault/Password Manager for Mac

Please Login to Remove!

I use Ascendo Datavault. I liek the program, particularly the desktop client. The problem is it only runs on a PC (there is no Mac version of the desktop client). That means I have to launch VMWare whenever I want to open the desktop client. Does anyone know of a similar program that has a Mac desktop client? The only reason I keep VM Ware is to run Blackberry Desktop Manager occasionally (when I upgrade my BB's OS). It is annoying to have to launch VMWare simply to look up one piece of information in Datavault.
Thanks.

Try KeepassX. There is no sync manager, but you can simply create a file with the mac software and copy the file to your BB. Open the file with Keepass for BB and you have all your passwords, and for free!

How do you keep the Mac and BB versions in synch? If I make a change on the BB, do I have to copy the file to the Mac? And vice versa?

Yes. There is no sync module. If you've made a change you have to copy the file to the Mac. I have search a lot, but KeepassX is the only 'cross-platform' for Mac and BB (and also XP & Vista).
Tip: the file on your BB: call it "Database", otherwise the BB can't read / open the file.
