We are far from a perfect BB that pleases everyone. Looks on the bright side, you are still in love the a Blackberry, I guess the company didn't really disappoint you that much anyway! lol

I am on my second Storm
The first I bought to try it out. I lasted all of a week before I was fed up and went back to my Curve.

This round, I'm 2 weeks in so far. After the cat tipped a glass of water on my Curve and killed it, I was offered a Curve, or for $20 extra a Storm*sigh*
And I'm less and less annoyed with each passing day. There are pros and cons, things I love, things I miss (ugh, home-screen keyboard shortcuts)

I'm slowly learning to type again LOL
I love pretty much everything about the Storm, with the exception of the landscape keyboard, and application support (Both will change in time I know)

The only thing that was a deal breaker on the first round with the Storm was that the full keyboard in landscape, actually takes into account the "angle of attack" your thumbs should strike the keys at, making one-handed typing in landscape a dreadful time.

As far as your complaint about txt correction, I WOULD have agreed with you a week ago, until I spent the time to add in most of my common jargin and slangs to the custom dictionary. Now it's FAR easier, and thank god it automatically adds names to that list, or I would have died!

Next step, I attack my auto-text hehe.

You can also turn off the auto-correction feature..that way it just tells you when you've spelled something wrong, and if you meant to (slang) it will let the word stay like that.
