Is there a way to make sure that I am using wifi and not edge because i cannot go over 2mb with edge a month or ill get hit with some fees and I cant get that, I have been using opera while im at my house and it does show my wifi network name (ssid) at the top of my screen but i want to know if there is a way to know 100% sure that im using wifi and it doesn't change over to edge for some reason

Oh and I do have the wifi preferred option set as well.

you can Manage your Connection and turn-off Mobile Network while browsing within a wi-fi area, of course that will also knock out your connection to cell tower for any phone call.

when I am in a wifi zone I am able to use the BB browser.
